We seek to make responsible business choices that will have a positive impact on both communities and the environment. Additionally, we aim to form partnerships with our stakeholders to promote sustainability across our operations, supply chain and the communities where we conduct business.
This policy outlines our commitments to sustainability that will continually enhance our sustainability performance across all aspects of sustainability, such as environmental, social, cultural, economic, human rights, health, safety, risk and crisis management.
We strive to promote a more sustainable value chain by partnering with companies that we conduct business with, including our owners, franchise partners and suppliers.
Governance:
Compliance: Comply with all applicable legislations and regulations, including the following aspects: health, safety, labour and the environment.
Supporting Local Businesses: Partnering with local SMEs (e.g., transportation suppliers) to ensure tourism dollars stay within the local economy.
Transparent Pricing: Providing fair pricing for customers, fair compensation for partners, and resisting exploitative practices.
Sustainable Growth: Balancing expansion with long-term responsibility—avoiding over-tourism or strain on local infrastructure whenever possible.
Resilience Planning: Diversifying services and building financial reserves to handle crises such as pandemics or economic downturns.
Social:
Fair Employment Practices: Providing fair wages, safe working conditions, and equal opportunities for all employees.
Local Employment: Prioritising hiring from local communities and providing training and development programs.
Accessibility: Providing easy access for persons with disabilities and the elderly to board the vehicles
Community Engagement: Collaborating with local community groups, and schools for social development initiatives.
Health & Safety: Upholding the highest standards of safety for our customers and employees, including regular training and audits.
Cultural:
Respectful Tourism: Educating staffs on appropriate behaviour at cultural and religious sites.
Preservation Efforts: Supporting initiatives that protect and promote local heritage, traditions, and languages when possible.
Cultural Sensitivity Training: Providing staff with regular training in cultural awareness whenever possible
Environment:
Fleet Management: Transitioning to low-emission or electric vehicles by Year 2027. Maintaining vehicles to meet or exceed emissions standards.
Carbon Offsetting: To partner with local or regional programs to neutralise emissions while reducing the company’s carbon footprint by 2% per annum.
Waste Reduction: Implementing zero single-use plastic policies on tours when possible and encouraging reusable items among staff and passengers.
Sustainable Procurement: Prioritising eco-friendly suppliers, products, and tour partners (e.g. hotels, airlines, vehicle maintenance, transportation supplier) when possible.
